Who we are
This site, peotools.com, is operated by PEO Tools. We build software for independent PEO brokers. This policy covers the marketing site: the pages, the contact forms, and the live product demo. It does not cover the separate broker portal or the embedded analysis a broker runs on their own site. When this policy says "we," it means PEO Tools. When it says "you," it means a visitor.
What we collect, and why
What you type into a form. If you submit a form, we receive what you entered: name, company, work email, phone, state, the product you are asking about, and your message. We collect it to read your request and reply. We do not use it for anything else.
How the site is used. We run first-party analytics so we can see which pages get read and where the site is confusing or broken. It runs by default, and you can turn it off. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, do not build ad audiences, and do not sell what we collect.
Analytics, and how to turn it off
We use Matomo, a first-party analytics tool, configured as site 10. It loads through two paths on our own domain, /browser-data and /browser-support. It records pages viewed, the referring page, approximate location, browser and device, scroll depth, clicks, form submissions, and script errors, used only to improve the site.
The analytics opt-out control is rendered on this page on the production build. Opting out sets a preference in your own browser that tells our analytics not to record your visits. If your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it as an opt-out where applicable law requires.
Contact forms
The forms on this site are processed by Web3Forms, which passes your submission to us so we can read and answer it. Each form carries a hidden anti-spam field you never fill in. We use your submission to respond and to keep a record of the exchange. We do not add you to a marketing list for running the demo or browsing the site.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that operate the site for us: hosting and infrastructure, the first-party analytics, and Web3Forms for form delivery.
- Legal and safety: where the law requires it, in response to valid legal process, or to protect the site and its users.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertising networks for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept while we work your request and for a reasonable period afterward, then removed. Analytics data is retained at the page-and-behavior level and is not tied to your name.
Your choices and requests
You can opt out of analytics, ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and stop hearing from us. To make any request, use the contact form at /contact/. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request.
Children, security, and changes
This site is for business professionals and is not directed to children. We use reasonable measures to protect what the site handles, though no method is perfectly secure. We may update this policy as the site changes; the "Last reviewed" date will be refreshed and material changes noted here.
